MicroNeedling
MicroNeedling is a procedure that promotes scar healing in the skin. It is a minimally invasive and non-surgical skin rejuvenation method that uses a needle dermal roller with hundreds of steel microneedles, 0.5 to 2 mm or more in length. By rolling over the skin, it creates controlled micro-damages or channels through which the active substances can penetrate deep into the skin and thus enable even better results.
The healing process begins with the filling of microwounds or channels, initiating wound healing that is seemingly completed within a day. There is no scar. During healing, growth factor beta (TGF-β) is activated, which leads to the synthesis of collagen and the construction of a healthy network of connective and elastic fibers. The thickness of the epidermis increases, circulation of older skin improves, and more moisture is retained in the skin.
Who are good candidates for MicroNeedling?
In the procedure, the length of the needles is important, as inducing bleeding is necessary for the activation of blood platelets. This initiates the healing process. The procedure is most often used to maintain a youthful appearance, it is also very suitable for pronounced scars from cuts or tears, burns, acne scars, stretch marks.

Recovery
The skin may feel a burning sensation for the first hours after the treatment and may become slightly red.
After the treatment, you will receive detailed instructions for home care.
How is recovery going?
Absence from work in menthoplasty is very different. It depends on the discomfort of each patient and on other characteristics, such as the nature of the work (if, for example, you have to talk constantly at work), the extent of the correction, etc.
A few days after the operation you will feel discomfort and slight pain in the area of the intervention, which is normal. You will be prescribed analgesics to relieve discomfort. According to our experience, clients take them 3-4 days after the procedure.
There may also be a changed feeling of touch on the chin, which disappears after a couple of weeks. Bruising and swelling go away within a week or two. You can start with daily tasks immediately after the procedure, but it is recommended to wait at least two weeks before sports activities.
