Own fat cells have an advantage over other agents (collagen, hyaluronic acid or Artecoll) because they are not foreign and in this sense are completely harmless to the patient's body. Part of the injected fat dies, but the rest lives permanently.
Rejuvenation with your own fat
The face ages also due to a decrease in the volume of subcutaneous fat. If we add tissue to a wrinkled face, it will look youthfully taut again.
The best way to fill the face is your own fat, which is injected with a syringe in small amounts so that the cells they 'take hold' and the result is more permanent. Fat is removed from the thighs, knees or abdomen. Part of the injected fat dies, while the rest lives permanently. The percentage of fat survival depends on the individual, so it is possible that several repetitions are necessary to reach the final goal.

Recovery after the procedure
The biggest swellings appear on the second or third day after the procedure, they are often even bigger than after surgery. After a week, the swelling starts to decrease. Swelling and bruising can last up to three weeks, depending on the individual organism. After one week, we usually recommend a gentle massage, which accelerates the reduction of swelling. The procedure is performed under local anesthesia, and at the request of the patient also under general anesthesia.
When is face lipofilling recommended?
It is most often used on the face to fill in deeper wrinkles or facial asymmetry, as the effect with own fat is more long-lasting than the use of fillers based on hyaluronic acid.
Are the results permanent?
The final result is achieved a few months after the procedure, since approx. 10-30% of the applied fat is reabsorbed. Since it is the body's own ingredient, the procedure is harmless.
Is liposuction necessary for the procedure?
The fat cells that we want to apply must be obtained from somewhere. Since it is a small amount of fat, it is most often obtained from the abdomen, waist, loins or thighs.
